baterai laptop available plugged in not charging

Mylaptop model is Hp Notebook. So, I bought a new battery, but once i use it, my laptop will not turn on. so, I expect the battery is drain, then i plug in and the laptop turned on. Then, i check the battery icon and it show "98% available (plugged in, not charging)". But, when I remove the charger, my laptop turn off immediately. Ifyou have a brand new laptop and its not charging properly, you should contact HP Support for direct warranty help. Contact HP Worldwide | HP® Official Site. Choose the country you are in, then choose Support and follow the prompts. NOTE: Options and hours of operation vary between countries. Theadapter arrived today , i plugged it in & the same story continues.. plugged in , not charging. As far as I observed, there is no problem with my battery & AC adapter as I plugged it to another laptop & its working fine. Also, the connection between the port & the Ac adapter plugin seems to be loose ( i think this is the problem ) . 1 Possibly related, but it's unlikely then that the machine would display "100% charged, plugged in, charging". If your power brick (the "charger" is actually in the laptop; all the power brick does is convert AC to voltage-regulated DC) is not providing sufficient power then the battery isn't going to reach 100% charge. - Jamie Hanrahan. 3 Jun 12, 2018. #1.
